Welcome to our clinic. Our team includes Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a Lactation Counsellor—all here to support you and your family, from infants to adults. All initial lactation appointments are scheduled with Sarah, our clinical lactation counsellor. Follow up appointments will be scheduled with Sarah or Karrie as indicated to support the care plan.

Insurance – We do not direct bill. Clients are responsible for confirming coverage. SLP services may be reimbursed under speech therapy benefits. Lactation counselling may be reimbursed through your health spending account.

Fees – Our rates include direct and indirect care time. We’re committed to thoughtful, personalized support that extends beyond your session and allows us to coordinate care with your extended healthcare team when appropriate. Please note that Tip of the Tongue clinic fees will be increasing September 1, 2026. Infant feeding and oral function fees will be standardized across providers and our Myofunctional Therapy fees will be increasing to $115/session.

Daniel is a registered speech-language pathologist. Daniel was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario. He obtained his Honours Bachelor of Science with distinction in Psychology from the University of Toronto; during which he completed an Honours Thesis research project on Communication and Aging. He moved to Edmonton to complete his Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Alberta. He now lives in Sylvan Lake with his wife, his two sons and his dog Butters.

Daniel has had the pleasure of working with pediatric and school-age children in a variety of health centres and school divisions. He has also supervised graduate students from the University of Alberta.

Daniel enjoys all aspects of speech-language pathology and values every chance to work collaboratively with families and other professionals. He actively pursues continuing education in order to provide the best evidence-based therapy. His interest in Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders led him to Tip of the Tongue.

In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, building computers, and playing bass guitar and drums in a local Red Deer band.
