Welcome to Tip of the Tongue!

We’re a dedicated team of two Speech-Language Pathologists and a Lactation Counsellor, here to support all aspects of oral function for both infants and adults. Our collaborative approach ensures comprehensive care by working closely with local health providers.

Lactation Care: Lactation care is complex, and achieving your feeding goals requires ongoing support. To ensure our strategies are effective, follow-up appointments are essential. Our team works collaboratively, and many families benefit from seeing both of our lactation therapists, Sarah and Karrie, during their care. For your initial lactation consultation, we encourage families to book with Sarah, unless you have been referred specifically for oral function concerns. We look forward to supporting you on your feeding journey!

Insurance: Please note that we do not offer direct billing. However, appointments with our Speech-Language Pathologists can be submitted under Speech Therapy health benefits for reimbursement.

2 Locations (Red Deer and Sylvan Lake): We are located in Red Deer inside Elle Physiotherapy at the end of Ross Street East (#300 80 Donlevy Avenue) and Sylvan Lake starting in November at the Business Connect Center (4914 50 Avenue) across from the Library.

Contact Us: Please note that during clinic hours our therapists are typically serving our clients. If you have called the office please leave us a message and our part time off-site practice manager will respond as soon as she is able to.

Booking and Fees: Tip of the Tongue pricing includes both direct and indirect time. We are committed to individualized and collaborative care, which requires our therapists’ time both during and outside of your sessions to maintain our high standards.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out. We look forward to supporting you and your family!
