Welcome to Tip of the Tongue!

If you call, kindly leave a message—our part-time, off-site practice manager will get back to you as soon as possible. ➡️ For questions about a scheduled appointment, please use the contact details provided in your appointment reminder to reach your therapist directly.

Lactation Support: Lactation care is complex and requires ongoing, responsive support. Follow-up visits and weight checks are key to tracking progress and meeting feeding goals. Sarah, our lactation counsellor, supports families with a range of concerns including milk supply, latch, positioning, suck function, mixed feeding, and more. She also offers prenatal consultations, which can help reduce the risk of early feeding challenges and build confidence before baby arrives. Support for frenectomy-related care is also available when needed. 👉 Please note: Karrie is unavailable for bookings until September 2025

Insurance: We do not offer direct billing. However, services from our Speech-Language Pathologists may be submitted under Speech Therapy benefits for reimbursement.

For Expecting Parents: Our Prenatal Latch Lessons or our 1:1 Prenatal Prep Session are perfect for expecting moms who want to start their breastfeeding journey confidently.

For New Parents: If you're currently breastfeeding or using expressed breast milk, we recommend connecting with our Clinical Lactation Counsellor, Sarah. She will work with you to assess and troubleshoot challenges with latch and feeding as well as review the Pillars to Infant Feeding Success, helping you understand milk production, your baby’s feeding needs, how often to feed. An individualized care plan to support your feeding journey will be provided. If indicated she will collaborate and refer to our in house SLP/IBCLC for questions/concerns regarding oral function once the basics of breast and bottle feeding have been reviewed.

For Concerns with Oral Function: If you have concerns about your baby’s oral function or potential issues with tongue, lip, or cheek ties, our dual-certified Speech-Language Pathologist and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Karrie Page, can provide a thorough assessment to address your concerns and develop an individualized care plan including recommendations and referrals to support your feeding goals. 👉 Please note: Karrie, our owner and therapist will be unavailable for direct bookings until August 2025.

We’re here to ensure that your feeding journey is as smooth and supportive as possible. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions or to book a session.
